Susanne has been painting all her life and has had many exhibitions both here and abroad.

A Past Exhibition
Woodstock Art and Antiques
PastMastery exhibited several dummy boards at Woodstock Art and Antiques ( main street opposite the Town Hall in Woodstock near Oxford, Oxfordshire), at Christmas 2005. They looked wonderfully realistic in amongst the antique furniture.
The figure in the window is Magdalena, a modern PastMastery dummy board figure based on a c. 1623 portrait of the artist's daughter by Cornelis de Vos. The portrait is at Chatsworth House Derbyshire U.K (See This Quiet Life for details). Recent Past Exhibitions

Owing to pressure of work for the miniature shows Susanne was not be able to exhibit in the Autumn show. Hopefully she will be showing in the Spring.
PastMastery showed at The Kensington Dolls House Exhibition at the Town Hall Kensington, London. May 16th, 17th and 18th 2008. Some photographs from this show can be found on the new Kensington Dollshouse Festival 2008 page. An article on Susanne and Stephen and their tiny creations was featured in the Dollshouse magazine ( Guild of Master Craftsmen publication ) May 2008. Susanne also gave an illustrated lecture - THE DUMMY BOARD FIGURE AND ITS PLACE IN THE HISTORIC INTERIOR AND GARDEN, 1600 TO THE PRESENT DAY- on the Saturday 17th May at the festival.

This Quiet Life...
Susanne and Stephen were at Miniatura at the N.E.C. Birmingham on October 4th and 5th 2008, for the first time. Some photographs of the stand appear on a link on the Miniatura page.

The Dollshouse and Miniature Scene Magazine has a retrospective on the Autumn Miniatura Fair held at the N.E.C. last October in the January issue. Go and have a look at PastMastery's contribution. Our advert also appears on the following page- another 19th century St. Nicholas!
An article will appear in the German magazine Das Magazin ( Die Zeitschrift fur Miniaturen und Puppenhauser) in December.
Forthcoming Exhibitions
PastMastery will be showing at The Kensington Dolls House Exhibition the one day Dolls House Festival at the Town Hall Kensington London on December 6th 2008. FIND US IN VERY CENTRE of the GROUND FLOOR HALL.
Sue and Stephen will also be at the Thame Dollshouse and Miniatures Fair at the Leisure Centre, Thame, Oxfordshire on 21st February 2009. More information will appear on this page nearer the time.

Annelies Van Tessel miniature still life and portraiture
Annelies's work is of the finest quality and her tiny paintings would grace the walls of any miniature home.. She paints in oils on canvas in one twelfth scale and her work in the Dutch still life genre is without parallel in the miniature world.
Miniatura, The International Dollshouse Show Miniatura is one of the biggest dolls house shows in the world and features more than 250 exhibitors who travel from far and wide to attend. Here you will find something for every type of miniature and dollshouse collector.
Kay's miniature hand made needle felted animals
 Kay Stahler crafts, in one twelfth scale, the most exquisite tiny dogs and other animals from felted wool fitted over a wire frame.They are incredibly characterful and some of the proceeds from sales goes to various animal charities.
To the left: our own dog, little Delphi, a triclour wire haired Fox Terrier created by Kay, from photographs of Delphi when she was four months old. As you can see, Kays animals are so lifelike!
